2024 Director Election and Nominating Committee Results

STATESVILLE, NC (October 18, 2024) – AgSouth Farm Credit CEO Vance Dalton announced the winners of the 2024 Board of Director and Nominating Committee Election.
AgSouth Farm Credit is a member-owned cooperative and relies on their members to help build the leadership that serves them. Open Director seats and the Nominating Committee are voted for by eligible stockholders during the Annual Meeting. This year’s Annual Meeting was held on September 4, 2024, in Braselton, Georgia. The 2024 Director Election Results are as follows: Region 1, Seat 2 - Tina Gross (Sanford, NC); Region 4, Seat 3 - Leslie Sparks (Sparta, NC); Region 6, Seat 2 - William Robinson (St. Matthews, SC). The terms are effective October 23, 2024.

There will be a runoff election for Region 7, Seat 3 due to neither candidate receiving majority votes pursuant to AgSouth Bylaws Section 410.6. The runoff election is being held between Jonathan Mann (Surrency, GA) and Kenneth Bennett (Blackshear, GA). All voting stockholders as of the record date for the election are allowed to vote in the runoff election. All votes must be received by November 29, 2024.
