AgSouth Farm Credit Announces 2024 Board of Director Runoff Election Results

STATESVILLE, NC (December 3, 2024) – AgSouth Farm Credit CEO Vance Dalton announces Kenneth “Neal” Bennett as the winner of the 2024 Board of Director Runoff Election.

This year’s Annual Meeting was held on September 4, 2024, in Braselton, Georgia. Eligible stockholders were able to submit their ballot by mail or online. Due to neither candidate in Region 7, Seat 3, receiving majority votes, pursuant to AgSouth Bylaws Section 410.6, a runoff election was held. The 2024 Director Runoff Election yielded Kenneth Bennett from Blackshear, GA as the winner. 

AgSouth Farm Credit is a member-owned cooperative and relies on their members to help build the leadership that serves them. Open Director seats and the Nominating Committee are voted for by eligible stockholders during the Annual Meeting. All voting stockholders as of the record date for election were allowed to vote in the runoff election and all votes had to be received by the independent tabulator by November 29th, 2024 in order to be counted.
