From an early age, Michael Everhart, has wanted to carry out his passion for agriculture and to be a farmer. 

“Agriculture has always been part of my life. From a young age, I was around cattle and swine and sheep. That’s what I’ve always wanted to do for the rest of my life, to farm and try to feed the world. 

In 2014, he purchased his first piece of equipment and started his relationship with Farm Credit. In 2017, Michael and his wife Alex purchased their farm. They have grown the farm to 25 acres of fenced pastureland and have left the remaining land as timber. They are currently raising 150 ewes with plans to expand.
