AgSouth Welcomes Stacey Martin as Monroe, NC Crop Insurance Agent

Monroe, NC.: (March 25, 2025): AgSouth Farm Credit Crop Insurance Manager Sandra Meeks has announced that she is excited to have Stacey Martin at AgSouth as the newest Crop Insurance agent in the Monroe, NC branch office.
Stacey and his wife and children currently live in Oakboro, NC. He is known in the area for his time with River Valley Crop Insurance and has been in the crop insurance industry for 25 years. He is very much looking forward to the next phase in his career with AgSouth. He is excited to announce that he will continue to serve his existing customer base and looks forward to the expanded capacity that will allow him to support more farmers. Stacey adds, “I am looking forward to expanding my client relationships into new AgSouth communities.”
Stacey will work out of the AgSouth Branch office in Monroe while he serves several surrounding counties. Those counties include Alamance, Anson, Cabarrus, Caswell, Chatham, Davidson, Durham, Forsyth, Guildford, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Orange, Person, Randolph, Richmond, Rockingham, Rowan, Stanly, Stokes, Surry, and Union Counties.
According to Meeks, “Farm operations and commodities grown in the Foothills and Piedmont of North Carolina are important to the agriculture industry in North Carolina. Farming is hard work and a high-risk business. Our full-time agents work closely with farmers and our lenders to offer insurance that can protect farmers against uncertainty. Stacey’s local ties and strong customer service will make him a valuable addition to our crop insurance team.”
