AgSouth Welcomes Sawyer Davis as Statesville Loan Officer

Statesville, N.C. (August 12, 2024): AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Lending Manager Mark Robertson has announced that he is excited to have Sawyer Davis at AgSouth as the newest Loan Officer in the Statesville, NC branch office. 

Sawyer is from Boonville, North Carolina and graduated from Wilkes Community College with an Associate’s degree in Agricultural Business and a Bachelor’s in History from Appalachian State University. He has most recently worked with Nutrien Ag Solutions in Yadkinville, NC. 

Sawyer will serve farmers serviced by the Statesville branch and will be serving Iredell County. He is well connected to agriculture, having grown up on his family farm where they grew tobacco, row crops, owned poultry houses, and raised beef cattle. In his spare time, Sawyer enjoys hiking, hunting, golf, and working with his cattle. 

According to Robertson, Statesville and its surrounding area is a high growth sector in North Carolina. “We have loan programs for land, farms and homes that meet the needs of this market. Sawyer’s work experience provides him with a strong background to understand and serve the needs of our customer base. We are excited to have him as a valuable addition to our lending team in the Catawba Valley Region.”
