AgSouth Welcomes Helen Schertz as Aiken Loan Officer
Aiken, SC.: (January 23, 2024): AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Lending Manager Troy Brownlee has announced that he is excited to have Helen Schertz at AgSouth as the newest Loan Officer in the Aiken, SC branch office.
Helen is from Charleston, South Carolina and recently graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and minor in Equine Industry. She has been a competitive equestrian rider for over 10 years and was a member of the Clemson Equestrian Team. Very much looking forward to a career in agriculture that supports farmers and rural landowners, Helen states, “I am looking forward to helping people in Aiken and Edgefield counties make the purchase of their dreams – whether land, equipment, farm or a home.”
According to Brownlee, “Aiken and its surrounding areas is a high growth sector in South Carolina. We have loan programs for land, farms and homes that meet the needs of this market, and Helen is a good fit to understand and serve the needs of our customer base. We are excited to have her as a valuable addition to our lending team.”
