As a cooperative, we’re committed to good governance and we rely on our members to help build the cooperative that serves them. Our election process starts with the member-elected Nominating Committee identifying, qualifying, and nominating candidates for both the Nominating Committee and open Director Seats for upcoming terms. Our Voting Stockholders then vote at one of four sectional sessions of the Annual Meeting for their candidate(s) of choice.
For more on the election process, Director roles, and eligibility, please view our AgSouth Bylaws.
Interested in being considered to be on the Nominating Committee? The Nominating Committee’s primary focus is to identify, evaluate, and nominate candidates for the board of Directors at a Farm Credit bank or Association. This is important to the success of your financial cooperative. The Nominating Committee will be nominating candidates for next year's Nominating Committee in May 2020.
Please view AgSouth Bylaws for eligibility requirements and Role of Nominating Committee when deciding if you'd like to be considered.
