STATESBORO, GA (February 13, 2017) – AgSouth Farm Credit Marketing Director Christy Smith recently announced that the association is accepting entries for its 2017 “mAGnificent” Photo Contest. The contest is open to anyone residing in the 59 Georgia and 34 South Carolina counties served by AgSouth.
1/30/2017 - Farm Credit Associations Offer Free Agricultural Finance Training
January 30, 2017: Thanks to AgSouth Farm Credit and AgGeorgia Farm Credit, Georgia and South Carolina farmers have several opportunities to attend a free financial training workshop this year. The purpose of the nationally award-winning AGAware® program is to promote and educate the next generation of farmers. This will be the fifth year the program has been available in Georgia and South Carolina.

12/27/2016 - Kevin Hobbs Joins AgSouth as Mortgage Originator
STATESBORO, GA (December 27, 2016): AgSouth Farm Credit Secondary Mortgage Market Manager Deidre Nelson announced that Kevin Hobbs has joined the association as a mortgage originator for AgSouth Mortgages, the home lending division of AgSouth Farm Credit. Kevin will be based in the company’s Greenville, Ga., office, and will assist homeowners in Coweta, Harris, Meriwether, Muscogee, Talbot, and Troup counties.
11/17/2016 - AgSouth Farm Credit Plans Expansion to Downtown Statesboro Offices
STATESBORO, GA (November 17, 2016): AgSouth Farm Credit Chairman of the Board William Robinson and CEO Pat Calhoun announced that plans are underway for the consolidation of all administrative and operations functions and staff to its headquarters in downtown Statesboro. The new AgSouth office complex will center around the company’s current branch location of 40 South Main Street and the administrative office at 26 South Main.
11/16/2016 - Elizabeth Robertson Joins AgSouth as Mortgage Originator
STATESBORO, GA (November 16, 2016): AgSouth Farm Credit Secondary Mortgage Market Manager Deidre Nelson announced that Elizabeth Robertson has joined the association as a mortgage originator for AgSouth Mortgages, the home lending division of AgSouth Farm Credit. Elizabeth will be based in the company’s Laurens, South Carolina, office, and will assist homeowners in Laurens, Greenville, Greenwood, Abbeville, and McCormick counties.
10/11/2016 - AgSouth Welcomes Cassie M. Justen as Loan Officer

(October 11, 2016): Robbie Haranda, AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Business Development Manager, is excited to announce that Cassie Justen recently joined the AgSouth team as a loan officer. Justen will be working from the Statesboro office and servicing Bulloch and surrounding counties.
9/22/2016 - AgSouth Farm Credit Opens New Carrollton Location
STATESBORO, GA (September 22, 2016): AgSouth Regional Vice President Merrill Folsom said the Carrollton team have moved into their new offices at 2520 Highway 27 South. The branch is relocating from their current address of 809 South Park Street. The new location will provide ample parking for our customers and the interior redesign has been maximized to provide for excellent customer service.
9/6/2016 - AgSouth Directors Re-Elected at Annual Meeting
STATESBORO, GA (September 6, 2016): AgSouth Farm Credit CEO Pat Calhoun announced that three incumbent directors were re-elected to AgSouth’s board of directors for four-year terms at last month’s annual meetings. Nearly 1,100 members and their families attended the meetings.
